First 24 Hours
- Leave the protective film on the skin for about 2–6 hours, or up to 24 hours for special second-skin types.
- Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.
- Remove the film carefully.
- Gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and a fragrance-free antibacterial soap.
- Do not use hot water, sponges, or scrub the area.
- Pat dry with a clean paper towel or let it air dry.
Days 1–14: Healing Phase
- Clean the tattoo 1–2 times daily with fragrance-free antibacterial soap and lukewarm water.
- Apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare cream (e.g. Bepanthen, Panthenol, or Aquaphor).
- Do not scratch or pick peeling skin.
- Wear clean, loose cotton clothing to avoid friction.
- Avoid soaking (baths, saunas, swimming) and direct sunlight.
After 2 Weeks
- The surface layer of the skin is healed, but deeper layers are still regenerating.
- Continue moisturizing the area daily.
- When exposed to sunlight, use at least SPF 30+ sunscreen to preserve colors.
Avoid for at Least 4 Weeks
- Direct sunlight and tanning beds.
- Extended water exposure (pool, sea, bathtub).
- Heavy sweating or intense exercise during the first days.
- Scented lotions, alcohol-based or irritating cosmetic products.
If You Notice Problems
Contact a doctor if any of the following symptoms appear:
- Redness, swelling, or pain worsening after the first few days.
- Yellow-green discharge, pus, or unpleasant odor.
- Fever, chills, or general illness.
